After studying business at university, I randomly took a leap of faith and accepted an English teaching job in Korea, and I had a lot of fun. Over the last decade, I have worked in different positions, both teaching and non-teaching.
I decided to create this blog/website for two reasons: 1) To provide information to those interested in working abroad; 2) To provide useful content for English learners in small, bite-sized pieces.
A big part of my motivation is to help international job seekers make smarter choices while job hunting and handling financial matters. Also, I hope to encourage those who are looking to escape the rat race (even if it’s just for a year) to think about the fun that could be had living and working in another country.
Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is having the courage to take the first step.
